Things I have learned:

I once had a lady post a Tripadvisor review about my property saying that I specifically ruined Christmas for her and that her children are scarred for life now. All because I wouldn't let her family have an impromptu party by the pool with glass containers and two extremely drunk parents. Hotel reviews are fun.

I don't understand not runny egg love. What is the point if you can't dip your toast in it? If eggs were only available hard cooked, I don't think I'd eat eggs.

I love putting on makeup bc it's like art for my face. I don't wear it every day but yes, some ppl WOULD like using it even if we were not socially conditioned to do so.

It's not a bad film. It's dated, certainly, and the whole "cheer up" thing doesn't really take into account the absolutely savage mood swings some women can have, but I was impressed that they said words like 'vagina' and 'constipation' and were very frank about what everything was for, in a general way.

I think it is fine if someone doesnt want to wear make up, in fact I applaud their choice. For me, applying make up is one of the few parts of my daily routine that I actually enjoy. I truely do not wear make up for others or society, it makes me feel good and I enjoy trying different products and looks.

I think these types of videos have a point.

some of those latter ones, sure, you're not learning much from it besides the fact that baby pink lipgloss looks nasty. the first one or two, though, are educational to me: as a novice make up experimenter, I wouldn't know to use primer/foundation and powder before lip color to make it last longer.

but, wait, i was actually very into all of these. their mouths are so pretty.

This has been the conversation one of my co-workers has been having all day. How nothing makes the news anymore unless it happens to black people or gay people. As a WoC, I am squirming and angry. I hate this fucking bullshit.
