They still exist as an engine supplier... they’re no longer making bikes at the moment.

I hear you on the old outback bounce... New outback > than the old one for sure... the old one would throw stuff.
Thats why I ended up with an Outback.
Needed something to haul the baby rear facing, my wife, me, the dog, and all the baby crap like a jogging stroller, or beach cooler, etc.
Look at all the SUVs... no room behind the rear seat for some reason.
Now look at the outback or volvo wagons... more room with the rear seat up…
That time is now. We can actually do this to existing batteries now. RC vehicle guys do it all the time.
The problem is scale. Its a HUGE amount of power, and getting it in there is the issue...
If it came from the grid, you would need a literal power substation at the charging point.
If it came from a local battery,…
If you look into it more, Sony was doing R&D work for nintendos next gen console... Nintendo backed out of it, and sony then released it as the playstation.
4th gear:
All those sites are just outside Charleston, and we never got the storm.
Minor wind. mist (not rain) and not much else.
The storm dumped all its water on its north half, and missed us completely. We saw some cool clouds going overhead and thats about it.
All seatbelts are one time use. If you look at the nylon webbing where it goes through the buckles, you can see the shiny melt-looking deformation that happens after an impact.
The older inertial ones locked, but if you didnt have the belt tight on your body, you would still be going the inital “car speed”as the car…
I would be ok with display screens provided they didnt try to cram so much crap in there. They need the screen for the backup camera.. I am ok with that.... but then they need to keep the same internal hardware (processor/graphics/ram/etc) in it and then they have just one platform to maintain and update for 10 years…
Watched the Zanardi accident happen live... stuck with me for years.
Heres something fun to think about... making “cars” that fly autonomous is easier than making them drive on the ground.
I think you nailed why I have never heard of him... I get to choose my TV with streaming.. there is no music there. I never use the radio, I can stream from my phone through my car. YouTube is for How-to videos and psudo-science entertainment.... and all the shopping malls here are dead. I dont listen to pop music…
Actually Stark did go off and do his own thing while letting the company run itself.
Wouldnt happen. I would look up and even if I screwed up, the light is green and 3 people infront of me already went.... I would still headcheck as I came to the light. That is, literally turn my head and look.. first to the right (in keep right countries) then the left. as thats how they’re approached.
Depends.. did you buy it as-is? Can the salesman’s words be considered sales-chatter?
That wasnt the battery, that was the actual phone.
unless it was a mobile phone with a car-dock and a briefcase style battery.
no.. I would pay for it. I have the land and the money.
The problem is I am not “allowed” do to that on my land... and If I buy more land just outside of the area, the urban sprawl will reach it and complain about the noise after a few years.
I do believe you are mistaken. Most of the EVs make some profit. Some make huge profit per car sold (Tesla)
the largest problem with CAFE standards as they are set now, is that they include frontal area in the calculation.. making it so bigger, less efficient cars hit their marks easier.
So every vehicle becomes larger…
the glut of used Leafs from that worked out well for me.. I picked up a used one for 7k... its already paid for itself in fuel. (we drive ALOT)
Buy a used EV, and get all the EV gas savings for half the cost (or less) and a much better resale when you’re done.
You just cycle the same joke around...
