The best show I've ever seen was Levon Helm and Justin Townes Earle in Kansas City. Fantastic.

I saw you handcuffed to the bumper of a state trooper's fjord.

I don't mind Morgan as much as a lot of people, because he was always paired with the erudite John Miller. Morgan had some fine anecdotes about his playing days, but when he got to talking about statistics, he was terrible.

SING IT STEVE! SHA LA LA, Sha La La La LA!

Kid, you better get the picture!

Recently, I made my 80+ year old grandparents watch Stop Making Sense. They enjoyed it.

How about a little enthusiasm, though? Give me something, for chrissakes! Joe Buck is the announcing equivalent of a professor that reads every word on the PowerPoint.

https://www.youtube.com/wat… This could be his "THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT! THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!" or "DOWN GOES FRAZIER" moment, but it's Joe Buck, so he about lulled me to sleep.

Joe Buck is just horrible at talking. Good thing Tim McCarver doesn't do baseball games anymore. I might even watch the World Series with the sound on!

I don't remember, I dont remember what it was. (Jack says this in tune with the song later in the episode)

I was recently given a Fulbright, and yes you do know me from the cinematographer's party.

Well he did recently say that immigrants are not evil horrible people who should be shot and killed, which I believe makes him a FULL ON COMMIE in today's GOP.

COCKsicks! COCKsicks! Do you know what this is? (Slaps stomach) It's a ghetto mating call!

Steve Earle: "Here's a story, about a boy named Ellen, first name Kenneth, last name Parcell." Favorite musical number of all time.

The pamphlet he hands her says: "You do the Meth! Is Methamphetamine right for you?"

I was digesting Readers Digest in the back of a dirty book store, when a flag decal with gum on the back fell out on the floor…

IT SUCKS!!!!

Made with real sugar. And made fresh everyday.

Dont forget Steve Earle and the "Ballad of Kenneth Parcell". Its my favorite moment.

Honestly, Joe isn't as bad as Tim McCarver. Joe isn't great, but I think that the Jon Miller-Joe Morgan ESPN games were called much better than any Joe Buck-Tim McCaver game.
