"I remember when Bravo used to show opera…"

John Goodman can be in it for about five seconds and say the phrase: "Alien with a cat? Hyuh…." (Hyuh) is a muffled grunt commonly used by John Goodman, a trick he stole from Tim Allen.

R. Kelly is crazier than a fish with titties!

Charlie Rose, the worst newsman on TV? I say yes. There is no one quite as bad as Charlie.

In the late 50's the Post Office (never heard of it) attempted to launch a rocket-delivered-mail program. It never quite worked, although I'd imagine it scared a few people.

Watch out for snakes.

My point is that there are great albums from people in their fifties. I totally disagree with the feeling that your music peaks at age 27. Is 'Highway 61' better than 'Love and Theft'? Probably. But 'Love and Theft' is still a beautiful recording.

I would contend that classic albums are made by people in their later years (especially recently). This is generally due to the artist abandoning the pop-music format. Look at Springsteen, Dylan (who never followed a pop music format), McCartney.

Calling 'The Late Great Johnny Ace' a song about John Lennon is like calling 'The Godfather' a movie about olive oil sales. The song is about Johnny Ace, Lennon, and JFK.
Get it right fellas!
