All depends. I've been a customer of theirs for so long that I've rarely had any issue getting box upgrades for little more than saying I'll stick around for another year (not 2 years mind you, just 1).

I am quite happy wit my 2 922DVRs and DISH I have in my house. This would be a nice addition to our entertainment arsenal for sure.

I just bought one for my wife for Christmas and made sure that it received this update. However, upon initial readings of being able to remove items from the main carousel I was unable to get it to do anything other than offer the option of "adding to favorites" when tapping and holding. Curious...

Only one question: Is there an app for LogMeIn.com that would work for this on either WebOS or Android? I have a Pro account with them and right now just use their app for the iPhone to manage a few systems. If I had an iPad I'd use that but seeing I don;t want to fork out $500 right now this may solve my issue.

I gave my 1st Gen to my 6 year old son, he loves it. Going to be even better when he gets a nice new shiny one even if it is still a 1st Gen.
