Restore returns your phone to the way it was just before you did your latest backup. In other words, it adds the new features (not yet sure how to enable them after I did the above process, I don't see them) and everything else is exactly the same.
My exact question as well, would really like someone to reply if they have an answer as my iPhone is still "Restoring iPhone apps..." as I type this.
Crap, guess I'll have to wait for the iOS 5 JB to be released.
Has anyone else DL'd (downloaded) the app yet and got it installed on an iPhone 4 (not 4S)? I got it DL'd but iTunes tries to sync and then all of a sudden the icon disappears from the screen and becomes UNchecked on the left side. Nothing I am able to do will let me get it to sync over. Caveat, I do have a JB iPhone…
Agreed because right now I try logging in and iCloud (via Safari on my PC) tells me I need to: "To set up iCloud, go to iOS 5 Settings or OS X Lion System Preferences".
Actually the notification pulldown is a direct rip from the Jailbreak market on the iPhone which in turn was stolen BY the Android developers too.
Than Than!
I am not condoning any of the actions mentioned in this article nor the ones you add in addition. However, you cannot compare the methods being used in the article and the reference you make to the meat packing industry (chicken included) in the US; these are not even remotely the same.
That's just the easiest/fastest way to roll it out without having to do a lot of extra sales and development.
I was agreeing with you (saying yes, you are correct) and siting a reference.
Correct, as stated here:
Same subnet? That doesn't even make sense. There's a reason Netflix streaming works over 3G on the iPhone, you'd never have the same subnet. Not to mention taking a laptop on a business trip and streaming over hotel/remote office networks, etc, etc, etc...
But if everyone (providers) got on the same page and all told the studios to f-off then maybe we could get some true industry change going.
"I can't wait until Google buys Hulu, turns it around and I can cancel my Netflix."
Obviously you don't have a family, nuff said.
But to the point, if I have a streaming-only account then shouldn't I be able to stream to multiple devices? Isn't that kind of the whole point??
So what you're saying is that a family of 4 (with younger kids) should have to have 2-3 separate accounts just because they have multiple devices that can stream content from Netflix? Yeah, good luck making that argument in an economy like this.
Agreed, but they can also be the thorn in the sides of the studios (aka Apple and their $.99 music) and help change the movie landscape instead of taking it up the ass like everyone else.
I whole heartedly agree. I used to cheer for Netflix when it was them against Blockbuster but now I don't really know. I've NEVER been a Blockbuster fan but now that they might be teaming up with Dish Network and streaming content directly to their customers (and they get Starz content) I might be switching teams.
