The Attainable Dream Garage.

That is an excellent list.

BMW was never great with it, the old-school 745i was a turbo 3.5, the 540i/740i/840i were 4.4l, the e30 316 was a 1.8l, 325e was a 2.7L.

The Europeans have been de-badging for decades, this just takes it to the absurd extreme.

My dad always tells the story of the first BMW he ever test drove: It was a 1980-something E30 352e. His friend had told him that he needed to check out the new 3-series, the first with a 6-cylinder. My dad had always driven muscle cars and USS Cadillac El Barge-arados.
So he goes on the test drive, and the salesman

This is exactly how much I expected it to cost. Honestly, I don’t think its crazy.
for comparison’s sake, the OG tesla roadster was $98k and had 240 miles of range. I feel this bike sits in a similar niche.
Edited: I forgot about Zero

That pretzel was the connecting rod.

I’m also of the thought that lights should just always be on, all the time when the car is moving, day or night. I have yet to hear a real good reason not to.

I’d also say that people absolutley inherently recognize that if they can’t see their dashboard because its too dark, the only way to remedy that is to turn the lights on.

Yes auto lights work fine, but there are cars which have DRL’s, a constantly lit dashboard, and no- auto lights. Or the auto lights are not in auto mode.

Like the OP, I see multiple cars, every day, driving at night, in the rain, in the fog, in the snow, etc, with only the DRL’s on. No tail-lights at all, and marginal

I like the irony of this comment, in the comment section of a blog. Well done.

Yeah, I had a 96 tahoe 5.7,  13 on a great day.

But a great deal nontheless.   Hell, even the 350 versions were only good for 15mpg on a great day.

Gas Mileage in the teens?    Maybe if you’re lucky you’ll get twelve-teen.

I feel like you should earn grand national recognition for that comment.

Yeah, I stumbled upon the rally grounds by mistake during a business trip in Nuremberg. I had to stop and look around.  Standing on that podium gave me chills.

Finally, a real reason to stop being poor.

Just trying to catch the eye of the Jalop crowd, obviously.

as a former GMT400 owner, I approve this message.
