Final fantasy versus 13, last guardian, bio shock infinite, to name. A few that went over its release window by more than a year. Not to mention current gen games taking longer to make. Quite a few have been pushed back
I am liking the look and feel of sfv. Seems the game is going to be more about skill and reads rather than setups and plinking 1 framers. Can't wait for the beta to check it out.
I was waiting for this game to hit ps4 so I could retire my PS3 to the other bedroom. After launch of ps4 version I was so pissed cause I had to put my PS3 back to my living room after moving it already... It was a sad day :)
I figured they would, especially with the contracts they have with Capcom and the protour and other fgc events. Ps4 is going to be the standard for fgc events so they had to make it work. It's a win win for us in the fgc.
I'll take your word for it. I do know PS3 was difficult to program for, and I also understand ps4 is easier. Then it does make no sense that they didn't use the PC version. Good news is the ps4 version is running great now. I'm happy to see they moved fast on those patches!
If every game is made with PC code then the PS3 version is a PC coded version?!? They may be vastly different, but I am sure there is code in the PS3 os that carries over to ps4 os.
Makes sense though doesn't it? Sony using its own code to port to its own code for os. Seems porting from PC code to Sony code would have been more work.
Yeah I am mixed on that. 1) I have a ps4, and I understand Sonys gain on making this deal. 2) hate to see gamers get screwed. This console exclusive stuff can be annoying. In a bit bitter to have to wait for tomb raider. And last I heard, sfv in any form will not hit xbox.
As of latest patch, I have to agree, prior to patch, my original statement was true. The last patch really did a great job for input lag. Hope they improve it even more!
You mean the patch the came out today, days after your initial comment? Makes no difference on the discussion. But whatever man, keep giving out ill informed information to the people. People in the know understand the lag issues the port is facing and how it’s one of the worst out there. And I speak from experience…
Actually my first comment was a more general overall comment about others making sf4 port to sf5 comparisons. When I read your comment it compelled me to respond. I understand what karma is, just didn't find the humor in it. Actually came across as more a Xbox fan boy type of dig (not saying it was).

It’s been confrimed by man outlets in the fgc that the input wasn’t greatly improved on the patch. They didn’t even mention input lag in the patch notes. There is still about 7 frame input lag. Hopefully they will continue to work on it and fix it. Otherwise it’s a waste. Too bad really, was hoping for a lag free…
