At the end of the day, the root cause is always rich vs poor. The rich white folks convince the poor white folks (in America, this happens with other nationalities as well) to protect their (the rich’s) way of life by saying people of color or women are going to come in, take your jobs and start changing things,

Just a reminder: anytime someone says “DEI”, make them say the whole thing out loud. Make them say which one they don’t like.

We, as a country, re-elected this asshole knowing full well this was going to happen; therefore, we as a country are getting exactly what we asked for.

He’s not facing charges of aggravated assault, attempted aggravated robbery and terroristic threatening in the first degree.

Half-chub at best, unless they’re the ones getting to do the shooting.

I grew up in Texarkana. The gun was indubitably real.

See the precedence of “Boys will be Boys”*.

WTF is wrong with kids these days.....maybe the parents ??

Everyone’s Clint Eastwood when they’re the ones pointing a weapon at an unarmed victim. Most will pussy out when someone points one back.

Proofreading? You’re new here, huh?

I’m curious if the rifle was fake or not loaded. Or the teen simply didn’t think someone would fight back and decided to call it quits. I think we can start trying these brats as adults and fine every single parent involved, even of the kids that may have dared him to do this.

Agreed, but it reminded me of a PB special on migration last night.

He got a stern talkin’ to and then promised too never do it again. But word has it, he had his fingers crossed.

It’s Texas.  It’s it a Class A felony to not have a gun, there?

The NRA has no use for your logic and is fully immune to it.

I mean, I guess it depends on state laws, and of course, how rich and/or influential with the state politicians his parents are.

Change the scenario very slightly with it being an adult demanding a plane, a plain clothes person with a gun trying to stop them, and the cops showing up not knowing who is the one trying to do something illegal.

I would also argue that this was not a “peaceful” stop, as pointing a gun at a person to get them to comply, even if the weapon is not fired, is not “peaceful”.

That noise you’re hearing is the sound of every NRA exec finally achieving an erection, having finally found an actual “good guy with a gun” story to crow about.

The elusive Good Guy With A Gun That Stops A Bad Guy With A Gun, in its natural habitat, has rarely been spotted, but always talked about as if they’re not one of the rarest breeds of human.
