Why does anyone ever feel bad for wealthy people experiencing their choice to purchase a (accelerated) depreciating asset?!

I grew up with cell phones, my dad was an RF tech that got involved in setting up the towers back in the late 80s.

I want more of this. So much more of this that the municipalities decide installing actual traffic calming measures is cheaper than taking down the fucking signs.

Not in Colorado but on my street there is a stop sign that is always ignored, one day while walking the dogs in a ravine I saw a broken traffic sign that indicated ‘camera monitored intersection’ so being a lawful kinda guy I dragged it out and left it for the traffic department. Oops I meant I took the sign home and…

I have wanted to do something kind of like this to the school busses in the area. They have a slogan that reads “Children First, Always” I want to stick a magnetic sign with the word “Eat” on the beginning of the slogan, Eat Children First, Always

I think it’s the law in just about every state at this point. And no, no one pays attention. That said there are studies that show even hands free calling is a distraction while driving.  Though typically it’s the more brain taxing the conversation the more distracting it is.

We would reduce road fatalities if only we had more guns.

but in a true display of American exceptionalism, the U.S. has somehow managed to get even more dangerous.

Hands free calling is the law in my state.
