Titane is all hype. Its a weird movie for sure but that doesn’t qualify it as shoe in for an Oscar nomination. There have been far better films in the past that have been snubbed that have more of a beef with the Academy than Titane does.
Nah, head’s too small.
Sure hope not.
Super weird coincidence that the key word that got Garlin fired/quit from The Goldbergs this week was said maybe 38 times on Curb last night. Larry does it again!
Okay. Here we go. Each Villain was pulled from their reality from the moment when they learned Peter Parker was Spiderman.
The Venom question can be answered if you go the “symbiotes gets a hive mind across the multiverse” route. So the Hardy Venom shares a mind with the Topher Venom, knowing Maguires Spidey’s identity
Kraven?
They did release Peter with no charges so his story must’ve been corroborated. Either by Fury himself (it just took time to reach out from space) or other evidence.
Couple Ned’s new ability with a very brief glimpse of what looks like a green costume in MJ’s apartment, as well as a ton of knives, and you get a sense Peter Parker’s friends (or, ex-friends, which we’ll get to) might have heroic aspirations of their own.
We don’t have to. JJ jameson still knows about spiderman, means the whole world does too. They just forgot that peter parker exists as spiderman. So yes, the avengers still know him as spiderman. Maybe even Nick Fury
Unless they want to hand-wave Scott Lang doing Ant-Man things in the Quantum Realm while this was going on and remembering Peter is Spider-Man (aka the guy who tripped him up at the airport in Germany).
I had similar thoughts about how he starts over at the end. But Strange only said that people would forget him, he never said Peters life would be erased from existence. So I assume that while the people around him have forgotten him, he still exists in the same bureaucratic systems as the rest of us. His birth certif…
I liked the next step of the bit too. Not just Tobey trying to work out his back, but Garfield happily volunteering to pop out the kinks for him.
Peters 2 and 3 having no idea who the Avengers are and wondering if Peter 1 was in a band was so, so great.
The Spider-Men don’t defeat the villains in a traditional sense, they fix them, basically removing all their evil tendencies. So when all of those characters go back to their universes, we assume, they’ll no longer be bad.
He’s just a lawyer who does normal lawyer things.
I definitely didn’t have “Multiple References to Toby’s Seabiscuit Back Injury” on my 2021 MCU bingo card but it was one of my favorite things.
Spidey goes back to being the always broke twenty-something living on a penthouse loft apartment (with a sky roof) in Chelsea that I loved reading in the comics.
Obviously they’ll reveal Norman didn’t kill Aunt May. He actually replaced her with an actress who he genetically altered to make her look like Aunt May whom he then killed and abducted the real May...
