So my question was: how does a manual transmission work in a scenario where the car constantly has to switch between ICE and EV mode. However, upon further research, it would seem that the Insight was also a mild hybrid, i.e. doesn’t work in EV mode alone.

I’ve never driven either of those cars. In the case of the CR-Z it makes sense as that was a mild hybrid, but how does a Manual work in a car like the Insight?

*2005

Get this. The 8-Series is shorter than the 6-Series. It is more than half a foot shorter than the S-Class Coupe. The Gran Coupe, a 4-door, is about as long (2 inches longer) as the S-Class Coupe, a 2 door.

It's pronounced Zinger. Not sure I want my $1.7 million supercar to have some kind of connection to KFC.

What are the prices like on those things?

Ive heard this claim a lot for some reason and I don’t get it. Even though the Aztek was s funky vehicle, the surfacing and detailing on it is clearly from the early 2000s. You simply can’t slap on some new lights and wheels and start selling it in showrooms.

I couldn’t place why the cladded wagon looks so much better than the sedan. It’s the grille. Just a minor adjustment to the shape and it doesn’t look as derpy.

This is how I feel. Maserati hasn't been relevant since, probably, the seventies. Although I really dig the Shamal and 3200GT from the following years.

And? What’s your point? Even if I’m wrong about Risi Competizione, a factory team beat other factory teams in 2015. And the year before that. And the year before that. Why are we talking about Ford’s, a 100+ year old automaker that has a heritage in motorsports, 2016 LeMans performance 4 years later as if it’s some

“Winning” the LeMans is referred to winning the overall race, i.e. placing 1st. Ford won its class in 2016 against a dealership-backed non-factory team. Just hype and nothing else.

Guys, come on, this is just sad at this point. I’m not even going to watch this for mindless fun like I did past FnF movies.

I second the GS-F. Someone needs to buy this car.

I really liked the car in the teasers but it looks like a sedan photoshopped to look like an SUV here.

Off topic, but thank God for Google or I wouldn’t have remembered what the heck a Q3 was. I consider myself really good at useless automotive knowledge, but honestly I lose track of whenever these companies update these CUV things. I never have this problem with cars.

Yeah it looks like a Chinese car.

If you ask anyone to explain how it’s a “shitty” successor, you’ll hear crickets or “BMW durrrr”. I was actually surprised how closely the MKV followed in the MKIV’s foot steps. Knowing Toyota, I figured they’d put some kind of hybrid V6 in it and possibly make it AWD. It’s better and cheaper than the BMW it’s based

“Truth is measured in facts and figures.”

I don’t know how long before people realize that wokeness is going to be the death of media and entertainment.

1. Aston was right; a car in 2020 does not look very different than a car from 2000. Just more bulbous.
