*Lexus GS

I always thought the C-pillar was really ugly and ruined the rest of the car.

Took the words out of my mouth. It looks like a 6-Series but BMW decided to cash in on the 8-Series name.

These SUVs are so bland and indistinguishable, I thought they put the old Edge next to the new Edge.

They should call it “Irrelevant”.

The SL55 was my favorite car for a brief period.

What happened to the SLR is all those rappers have moved onto the next best thing. Meanwhile, it’s underappreciated in the enthusiast circle because it was no Enzo or Carrera GT, but an LFA before the LFA was made.

That’s a very interesting and valid point. Honda made a very similar commercial in the UK, and all the so called “actual people” guessed that the car was a Honda. Chevy’s message is: “people think we make crap but our cars aren’t all that bad.”

That’s because you probably remember the SRT Barracuda rumors. I might be slightly off on the timelines but that vehicle was supposed to come out 2013-2015. It’s 2017, SRT the brand is long gone, and the Challenger is still a 20-year-old Mercedes but with the seats ripped out.

There was a time not too long ago when I was actually rooting for Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. I just went to Allpar and read that the all-new Charger/Challenger/300 come out in 2019... except they don’t. They’re going to be refreshed again. Does anyone remember that the Challenger replacement was supposed to come out in 2013?

According to GM fanboys, “not terrible” = “top of the class”.

Here’s what happened with the Equinox:

I actually think these ads were quite endearing. The fact that they think people are that blind. And they were flattering Mercedes so much.

Oh noezz! Poor GM!

The issue: all BMW vehicles are watered down alternatives to vehicles already sold by the competition apart from the 2-Series. I don’t think there’s a single BMW I would like to own over something from MB, Cadillac, or Jaguar.

The 550 Gran Turismo is going to be a future classic.

Okay... Doesn’t really answer my question.

Um. The A3 is the only other decent car in the segment. You have the Acura ILX, the Buick Verano which is dead now, and... that’s pretty much it. Where are you getting the “so many good cars in the segment” from?
