This was an especially emotional game for players and students of Army and Navy when you consider most of them are going to be killed in a nuclear war soon.

The real story is that they didn’t fine some of the Eagles players like Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz for wearing cleats with Bible verses that aren’t tied to any particular charity or foundation.
The sad thing is the Browns’ color rush kit is leaps and bounds better than the abortion of a uniform they are wearing now.
Yeah, they could add smoking cigarettes and riding motorcycles, but being in the band would overcome it.
“We’re gonna penalize that shit.”
*thinks*
“We’re gonna profit off that shit.”
And here’s the NFL, publicizing the unsportsmanlike conduct!
If it only takes 1% to be true for punishment then all we have to do is prove at some point they ate pizza!
Reid and Smith have obvious, easily noticeable flaws, while their strengths are much harder to spot. The fact that Reid looks freakishly like a walrus doesn’t help.
People give a shit enough to hate on the chiefs? Are you sure of this? I often forget they even exist.
I was actually talking about this with someone today as we were watching the game. The Chiefs, Smith and Reid might play, at times, non-flashy football and might not be breaking some fantasy statistics, but they win. They consistently rise to the occasion when required and the team has done basically a turn-around…
Scott Hansen said it’s the first time in NFL history that a team took a fourth quarter lead and then lost the lead and the game on the very next snap.
Note to Chiefs haters: Yes, once again, the game would have been different if one little thing had gone the other way.
I’m just saying that it merited a mention.
It probably could’ve mentioned the scoreline, but it’s not like the two teams are using anything close to the same rosters for this match.
For one those teams were both senior level teams. These teams are under-23 for the most part and pretty much every player on the pitch never even sniffed a chance at playing in that game.
I like how this whole article on barely gives passing notice to the 7-1 drubbing Brazil took from Germany in 2014, the team they will be playing for the gold. Germany is mentioned, 2014 mentioned, but no connection is made...weird.
Holy shit. IOC spokesman is really angling for a new job as Sports Information Director for an SEC school.
De Grasse is an upstart who Bolt seems to have taken under his wing. De Grasse has basically come out of nowhere. His first running race ever was in May 2012 and he ran a sub-11 100 in borrowed spikes, basketball shorts, and a standing start.
It is kind of an Older Brother - Younger Brother dynamic. Bolt sees De Grasse as leader of the new younger batch of sprinters, someone to carry the torch and be the next great sprinter.
I think the Brazilian women just figured out how to spook Walsh at the net. Defense-wise, the match almost looked like it was won entirely on tips/roll shots that Ross was late to; and whenever Walsh did show a block only to step back for defense, the Brazilians smoked the ball.
Agatha and Barbara also had phenomenal…
