“They’re not really cheating! They’ve just compeltely and fundamentally altered the gameplay!” Uh huh.

I know NPC’s and summoned players are perfectly accepctable game mechanics that should be fully taken advantage of... but it still makes the accomplishment seem pretty lame...

Clint Hocking is wrong. Frankly it was brilliant all the way to Atlas, a little unstable half way there, but damn you get one actual Boss, and it is awesome. What Hocking said is more like the end of Infinite. You wonder why you bothered not quitting.

Why would they bother? They get their cut of whatever is purchased digitally through their respective stores, if they started issuing blanket returns they lose that money. Valve/Steam is a different animal. Since they are virtually the only player in town having broken PC games hurts their brand also, Microsoft and

Don’t use Valve as a harbringer of consumer rights. CD Projekt Red with GoG and even EA with Origin had return policies WAY before Valve even thought about implementing one.

Nintendo is the only company I usually buy on day-1 anymore. Folks can knock them for one reason or another, but their quality and relatively stable cost value for 1st party titles is really unmatched.

Well I liked the DLC because it was a return to Rapture before its downfall so everything is shiny and new, back at its peak. Interesting narrative on their place in Rapture’s story.

BioShock is a great franchise. I’ve played the games (most notably BioShock and BioShock Infinite) several times over. Sure, it’s not what many people would consider a “real” first person shooter, but I thought they struck the perfect balance of gameplay and story. It made me wish the games would never end.

I tend to think of it more as a unneeded aspect of a game thats not wholly centered around it. Kinda like digging a hole that serves no greater purpose than to dig a hole. Its had a conversation it wanted to have with the player and I think it did it pretty well up front. Not to say you shouldn't talk about it but

Maybe I am just a simplistic person but I enjoyed both the game play and the story of Bioshock. I didnt need fancy words or explanations to get through it, I just enjoyed the game as it was presented without trying to dissect it.
