Great motor!
I get that, but why does it ALWAYS seem to be indoors? The one Davis Cup I went to was in Winston Salem in April and it was beautiful outside.
So why is it indoors so much? It seems odd given there are hardly any major tournaments indoors. Is that the preferred way to play, and tournaments are outdoors simply as a practical matter?
Is it always played indoors? This only vexes me because the Wikipedia page does not contain the word indoor yet they always seem to be played under a roof.
Too bad he’ll have to jump over a bunch of slow white boys to get UCLA to the Final Four.
I am very relieved that Hamilton Nolan is no longer writing on The Concourse. I go to Deadspin for sports and the occasional fart joke and appreciate when it is made clear to me when I am getting something other than those two important topics.
Re: the question about whether a hacker could beat a pro if the hacker gets to start on the edge of the green (around 38 minutes in). I think Drew is right, with a caveat. This was mentioned toward the end of another NCAAT game I watched...in order for an out of bounds called to be reviewed, the whistle has to be for out of bounds. Since the call was for jump ball, they couldn’t review for out of bounds.
The Blue Jays should’ve put Britton in. SMH
Watching their bullpen melt down in the 2014 ALDS was one of the more uncomfortable baseball watching experiences I’ve had. Glad to hear that hasn’t changed.
Here’s one of the more bizarre possible consequences of being bitten by a tick: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha-gal_allergy
I would think the NBA haul is much bigger, but the key with MM is North Carolina hosts it almost every single year, whereas you only get the ASG every 15-20 years at best. The state has hosted in 11 of the last 13 tournaments before this year, including a year where Raleigh hosted the first two rounds and Charlotte…
Yes, but was it ass from the ass factory?
