Google “Blizzard Warden”, it’s the program they’ve used for years. It has complete overview of your system when it’s running.

It’s no secret how they’re detecting people they’ve banned before. The Battle.net client contains a security program called Warden. This program can scan your entire system and create a unique hardware ID for your system. Upon getting banned this ID is recorded in their master list of banned players.

We don’t need to work for Blizzard. Some of the people who actually DO have come out and said that the misconception that Overwatch is simply Titan minus the MMORPG aspect is completely wrong. Even the engine is different. Only a few assets got reused.

He explicitly says in the interview that he never sees himself being in corporate business again. Never wants to be a corporate officer again. And that he wants to tell stories in a more-limited fashion after his creative batteries eventually get recharged.

There’s this misconception that Overwatch = Titan - MMORPG. It’s not. Even Blizzard itself has said that only the tiniest bit of Titan made its way into Overwatch.
