The only romantic relationship in modern TV that rivals Lily and Marshall are April Ludgate and Andy Dwyer. Those are the only two couples I can think of that are both ridiculously cute together and also hilarious.

Yeah, Moffat doesn't usually stick the landing. So far I think only Season 5 has had a satisfying finale out of his seasons.
Animated movies, but a lot of animated series don't have the time or budget to wait until all of the actors' schedules line up. Some of the higher budget ones record them all at once, like Batman: The Animated Series, and The Legend of Korra (which records some of them together, but not all), but a lot don't.
It would be great for the Doctor's final speech alone, but I think it did a really good job of establishing Clara's character, too. I've loved it since it aired.
I didn't hate Season 7B, there wasn't really enough hints to make the payoff feel earned, but I liked the concept of it. I actually liked most of Season 7B (only ones I didn't like were "Cold War" and "Crimson Horror"), but Moffat really dropped the ball on "The Name of the Doctor." The first two minutes and last…
I would take character arcs over story arcs any day, but the writers very rarely give the Doctor character development, I guess out of fear of changing him too much?
I think he does much better writing material that's a bit more grounded in reality. I usually like his Sherlock episodes, and I really liked An Adventure in Time, but I don't think he's very good at fantastical stories. He gets so fixated on the monsters and adventure that he forgets to write characters as actual…
That makes sense.
Crossbones was a disaster (haven't had a chance to watch Luther yet), but man can that guy write a solid episode of Doctor Who. "Rings of Ahkaten" and "Hide" were my two favorite episodes from Season 7. I'd love to see him take a stab at being the head writer.
I will be so disappointed if Gatiss takes over.
So, am I the only one who likes the season-long plots? A lot of people seem to be really happy that the episodes have moved on to more episodic storytelling, and seem to kind of roll their eyes at the inclusion of the season-wide plot in episodes of "Robot of Sherwood." But I live for that kind of stuff. The only…
Based purely on his work in Season 7, I think it would be interesting to see Roberts and Neil Cross co-showrunning.
I have my fingers crossed for an Ian Chesterton cameo next week, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Does the whole cast record at the same time for Big Finish stories? I have almost no knowledge of how recording radio plays work, but I imagine it could work like animation voice recording, in which actors record their line separately and it's all edited together later on. So, maybe they never actually see each…
I can not imagine a world in which Eccleston would agree to do Big Finish audios.
Would have been really cool for it to share a universe with those two, they're doing a really neat job of building a shared mythology with those shows. There's always a slight chance of a crossover. It'd be more likely with Supergirl and the CW shows than any of the ones on NBC or FOX, seeing as CBS owns half of The…
I'm one of the few people who didn't hate the ending of How I Met Your Mother, but this disappointed even me.
I'm guessing this means that even if the Sandman movie is successful there probably won't be a sequel based on Seasons of Mist (assuming it goes to series).
And writers like that are the backbone of any show. But their episodes can be disappointing coming after the last few episodes, which were all spectacular.
Exactly. A lot of them seem like episodes that you could imagine after just hearing the premise of Doctor Who, and while it's not always bad to have a throwaway adventure in which the Doctor fights a bunch of aliens being led by someone who's been tricked by them, those aren't the ones that people remember that put…
