Yes. The throttle response isn’t the same. You have to wait for the engine to restart, and it’s horrible. I had a rented Mercedes with Stop Start and had to set my own custom mode for the car just to get it to not reengage every restart. Fuck stop start.

The track is built more for sprint cars and other cars that are typically raced on the dirt. A couple years back, the idea was hatched to race the NASCAR Truck series on it, and it has been a hit ever since.

Difference is brand new Ferraris burn down. This truck is at least 15 years old.

Congratulations! They are getting rarer by the day.

Along those lines...seen any SRT-4 Neons lately?

Aw, someone is upset he can’t go right downtown and watch the cars race. As a resident of St. Petersburg, all the more street courses. They’re awesome. They draw the casual crowd, which is critical for profitability.

You know if the jack doesn’t lift it high enough, that is easily solved by putting a block of wood under the jack foot, right? If you’re missing by the amount the ass will sag with some friends on it, it’s nothing a 6x6 won’t fix.

Had FS2 since it came out in my basic digital cable package...sorry. As for Fox Sports, they are doing a whole hell of a lot better job than ESPN has ever done for NHRA. Viewership up 75% this year because we can actually see the races. Live NHRA qualifying right now on FS1!

The light he was holding turned on. It’s the way they signal almost all no-prep races. Dude lines them up, backs up 1-3 steps (fat guy so one...) and turns on the flashlight. I much prefer when the no prep is at a dragstrip and they just go to green without the amber bulbs.

You know the car is called a funny car, right?

I did the math once when a friend wanted to look into it, on the most basic budget build I could come up with, the car was going to cost about $4000 itself, and the total weekend for 4 drivers was going to be close to $6500. Add the fact that you have to be more creative than I am about even applying and being

I had a stick shift truck with a bench seat. Can confirm, all girls in the middle, and shifting was an experience.

It’s very possible that the 11 coming up the side disrupted the airflow, causing the 2 to spin. Just like why when the 2 spun, the 11 went around too, no longer had the downforce it started with.

Also, many cars are legal to run in multiple sanctioning bodies, especially Top Sportsman, Pro Modified, Stock, Super Stock, and for a while in the case of IHRA and PDRA, Pro Stock. Most drivers have numbers for both IHRA and NHRA to run brackets, super gas (super rod), super comp (quick rod), or super street (hot

NHRA is the top tier, you are correct. However, PDRA typically runs at either an IHRA or NHRA sanctioned track, and they follow the more restrictive rules, which is typically NHRA. For all intents and purposes, NHRA and IHRA have the same rules, one difference that comes to mind is the 1/8 mile ET where a rollbar is

Unfortunately, most Top Sportsman cars and Pro Stock cars run right on the ragged edge of having enough downforce to stay on the track, and are extremely difficult to drive at speed. It takes hardly anything to put one on its roof (google NHRA pro stock crashes, they all follow the same script; slight shimmy to the

They’re a USA-based website. Get over it. This article was made to highlight one team, that doesn’t mean they won’t post a “comprehensive report on the race” later (which takes more time than just saying “hey guys, the new USA team finished 6th!). They’re allowed to publish more than one article a day!

Pretty sure I said, and I quote “little things like cam placement, valve angles and placement, and other dirty bits make a huge difference.” We even used the same word!

Continuing to steal things that are worth thousands of dollars? Breaking and entering into a motorhome? Nah, he shouldn’t have gotten anything. Felonies include time behind bars usually.
