Cthulu used to be a really nice guy, but, well….he's really seen some shit.

If you imagine the Crank movies as Grand Theft Auto Movies then they immediately become the best videogame adaptations.

I never really thought about it too much till just now, but Garrosh is probably the closest thing World of Warcraft has to a main character.

Unintended consequences seem to be the main side of his power so far.

I agree Harold could articulate his motivations and worries better than basically repeating 'Its too dangerous' over and over again, which is frustrating. I personally kind of waver back and forth between feeling irritated with Harold himself and with the show's writers when it comes to his lack of action.

I think it's been implied repeatedly the John and Zoe have gotten together. At this point, I just assume they do after every episode she makes an appearance.

While I agree the show could have handled Harold's change of heart better, I do kind of understand where he's coming from.

After so long seeing Finch as the most moral and restrained character on this show, I somehow forgot just how terrifying Michael Emerson can be when he needs to be.
I am now almost worried that Finch and the Machine will be the series final bad guy.
I never fully understood why the Machine was so much less powerful

I agree with you other than to say Samitaritan was never 'taught' anything. It was programmed by someone who is now dead and then was turned on and then immediately put in charge by Greer.

Root: You were right about the secret code.

I think now that everything Samaritan is doing really is to fulfill its mandate to protect humanity, i.e. it seems to be much more I, Robot antagonist than a Skynet one. The difference between it and the Machine I think now comes down to not one between good and evil, but that Harold actually took the time to teach

My prediction is the show will end with Root putting the simulation goggles on Bear, who will then defeat Samitaritan in a Princess Bride-style battle of wits.

I hate that kid. I did, however like Samaritan speaking to Root through the radio station speaker. Its modulated, affectless voice seemed appropriately alien and creepy.

It was too early to kill him. He hadn't even had his first cup of wine for the day.

Are you sure you know what puns are?

Bran is also still, you know, a child, and Hodor is an adult, even if he is mentally damaged. Adults sacrificing themselves so children can live is pretty much universally looked at as heroic.

I liked Feast for Crows far, far more than A Dance with Dragons — it was obvious the writing and editing were rushed, especially in the Tyrion sections. A normal editing process would have removed about at least 1,795 of the 1,800 or so instances of the line 'where do whores go?' from the text.

It showed how Bran can effect the past, as well as how innocent people become grist in the mill in the larger wars,- one of the main themes of the entire series.
You may not have liked it, which is fine, to each their own, but I don't think the argument that it was unnecessary holds up.
Also, Hodor.

I never would have guessed that Hodor would have ended up being Bruce Willis's character from 12 Monkeys. Which would make Bran the weird future guy from the airport that gave him the gun.
And obviously Hot Pie is Brad Pitt.

My love for Dark Souls is only matched by my hatred for Lost Izaleth. Everything about that place is terrible and unfun (with the exception of maybe it's visual style). The lead up to the boss sucks, and then the boss- The Bed of Chaos- is easily the worst part of the game, involving almost nothing but luck and no
