I’m actually not seeing the Mass Effect offer.  I see the other free games, but no Mass Effect.  Is it not available until Prime Day starts?

So many companies want to stream games while completely ignoring the U.S. market is 90% shit internet because cable companies have big fiefdoms where they don’t compete for defacto monopolies.

Why yes, we here at EA’s social media teams often play videos game. I myself play the FEETAFA spots game many times a day. I love the risk and reward of its funtainment gamblebox system, and I enjoy using the videoed game controller and online connectivity for lots of engagement.

Look, I get the backlash: It was an ill-advised joke for all the reasons mentioned in the article.
But I also get where they were going, and I don’t think it was that “single player games are bad and single player gamers suck lol”.
They were saying that when you find a partner, it’s great when they’ll play multiplayer…

I work in marketing, and this is absolutely either a raw-metrics strategy (i.e. whoever looks at the numbers only cares that the line goes up, not what’s done to make it happen) or an afterthought as part of the package deal EA signed with some ad agency, who in turn assigned it to the intern.

Fallen Jedi is a fantastic game, Dragon Age is still highly loved and Titan fall 2's single player is regarded as the greatest single-player campaign shooter of all time. EA should be more mindful of their accomplishments.

It’s a meaningless semantic difference. If you read books you’re a reader; if you do sports you’re a player; if you play games you’re a gamer. It’s just a descriptive word for something we do, not an identity.

Nah, there are lots of cool gamers. There are just a vocal contingent of them that are fucking trash.

It’s not specific to games, it’s basically anything with a nerd culture following.

Hyperbole gets more clicks. Broken Age wasn’t awful by any metric. It was mediocre at worst. I thought it was pretty decent, though splitting it into two parts was probably a mistake.

This isn’t a case of “less” detail, you’ve managed to pick one screenshot that is darker than most. The majority of the video clip is super detailed, it’s just done in an art style you don’t agree with. I with you on the character designs though, not a fan of the long faces.
