I’m sorry a PC owner stole your boy and/or girl. That must have been really painful. Luckily you have your console to cuddle at night.
Hunt Showdown doesn’t get enough attention or praise period. That game is fucking phenomenal, the sound design alone is well beyond any FPS I’ve played in the last decade, it’s a masterpiece of tension and “oh shit” moments.
Great point! There certainly are other examples out there. I think the ones you mention skew a little differently from what DMZ aimed for, but at the end fo the day, they do still contain that core extraction experience. They’re definitely worth checking out as a replacement to DMZ.
This is one of the many reasons I’ve started collecting blu-rays and 4k discs in 2023.
Boy you must love the smell of your own farts.
But he feels his uninformed opinions so strongly.

Our weekend gardening is their “hey let’s give this student filmmaker with…

A series with 2 entries and 3 remasters
This site regularly criticizes C-suite executives of gaming companies, and this article is explicitly about female journalists and developers. That’s the text of this article. Representation in this context refers to the gaming news desks that cover games and the development teams whose labor produces the games we all…
The RE remakes have been way more than remakes. That being said, 4 feels like the weakest of the batch. Doesn't feel like game of the year material to me.
Totally agree. I don’t think remakes and remasters should be up for awards. Movies as well.
Honestly the Oscar’s have a bit of integrity. Game Awards are more like the Golden Globes or the MTV movie awards.
