And this, right there, is why TV shows get cancelled. Without viewers, it’s not worth continuing on for more seasons.

A roguelike is shallow? When did that happen?

Bro... They have receipts. LTT was supposed to return it, they said 3 times they were just about to return it...then they auctioned it. This is all demonstrated AND conceded. I’m happy that you learned a new phrase —post hoc— but that isn’t at all what it means sweetie.
Bro, they literally attacked other, smaller, better channels, got called out on that and on stealing the Billet Labs prototype, LIED and said that they had arranged payment before the video came out—and then got called out AGAIN for this lie being disproven.
“for some reason”
Jesus Christ dude. Senpai isn’t going to notice you.
No, they really weren’t. Linus CLAIMED that they had, but LTT didn’t contact them about reimbursing them until AFTER the GN video. They messed up BADLY, then after they were called out for that they STILL didn’t handle it, and then they lied and claimed that it was all resolved.
I don’t, because it doesn’t seem to be driving off anyone who wants to play a DnD game, or a story driven game, or a turn based game, and people who are titillated by the sex, while they will find themselves mostly disappointed (the game continues to have sex, but it isn’t all a Laezel/Astarian rush) in that regard,…
Seconded
What part of what I said in any way, shape or form implies that I said we should suck up to mediocrity? Is it where I said that I specifically didn’t buy this game? Is it when I said that BG3 is absolutely incredible, and the best game I’ve played all year, but I still don’t think that I’ll be playing it in 6 months…
Oh man, didn’t know that! Awesome.
Yup. I didn’t pick up Hogwarts, because it’s not the kind of thing I wanted to put money towards, but this is such an inane article. Shocking news: single player RPG isn’t a live-service game!
While there is absolutely a limitation of a videogame with LOTS, but still limited, options, and a real person who changes things on the fly, there are lots of alternate paths. Want to get thwart Khaga? You can resolve her shadowdruid line, you can kill her, you can rescue Halsin, you can steal the relic (there might…
You really don’t though. If you fail the check on the dog’s collar, you don’t go into combat, you can try multiple things, most of them not being combat. For the goblin example, whether or not you succeed at throwing poop, you go into combat (you know...because you threw poop at them...).
Yeah, I gave up on most pickpocketing as it was frustrating for that very reason. Now I mostly just steal from traders I’m about to murder anyways, so when they get mad, we just fight anyways.
This is absolutely the correct response. While the dice rolls mean that a particular avenue fails, it doesn’t resolve the option entirely.
While 55 hours is definitely a very main path playthrough, it took me~26 hours to do every quest, take to every npc and animal, etc. in act 1. I’m playing the middle difficulty (tactician is fun, but slows things down). You are the other aberrant side of the time scale.
...but the loot...
Please stop fixating on the tree so that you can see the forest.
