You can walk with a joystick like in any other game, but this makes some people feel sick. As annoying as teleporting is to watch, it’s actually very intuitive feeling when playing games.

You didn’t read at all, did you? The first misunderstanding is the smaller one: She said she wanted one night with him to figure out her feelings. Not one night each week, but one literal night. Okay? Now let’s dig into it.

LoL. No. You are having some fundamental errors. The 2080 is NOT faster than the 2080 Ti, even though the TI has more Cuda cores running at a slower speed. Because saying that less = more is spin. Sony knew they were going into this with weaker hardware (minus SDD), and so they are trying to allay fears and to spin

It’s worth pointing out that the series x runs at 3.8GHz, but it ALSO can run at 3.66 with hyperthreading (for games that benefit from more threads at a slower speed). That is a bit different from running at 3.66 as a baseline, however. Not that this is much of a difference, but it’s there.

What are you talking about? Raw performance is actually very useful here, as they are using the same architecture from the same design firm. AMD is making BOTH of the console’s CPU AND GPU. The XSX is flat out the faster of the two, but a small, but noticeable margin. There won’t be anything like the Cell fiasco on

What the hell are you talking about? My Evo 970 Plus NVME doesn’t load faster than that. It’s not the fastest game in town, but any difference is a matter of a few percentages, and nothing is “an unreasonable amount of time.” 8 seconds for loading into an open-world game is VERY fast. I would love to see you take a

Because money. The quick calculus is that it costs $10,000 per month, per developer to make games. If you have 100 people working on the game, then this means that is $1 Million a month. That means that a delay of six months means that they need an EXTRA $6 Million on hand to pay out. That’s a lot. Owler puts the

Plus more dimming zones. You made the better choice

YES. ALL of that. Because 1) You cannot compare the hardware between consoles and PCs directly. While there are some numbers, such as TFLOPs, that correlate to raw performance, the other things that are happening are not comparable. A console wildly outperforms a PC with “comparable” specs. And that’s even before we

Oh get over it. The GTX 2080 is around 10 TFLOPs and the 2080TI is 13 TFLOPs. So it is more powerful than current hardware, with the exception of the most expensive card. Also of note, while TFLOPs seem to be an objective measurement, they aren’t really—not in real life performance. Despite the 2080 having LESS TFLOPs

I’ve not watched any of the bodypainting streams, and it’s possible they’re a little different, but I have watched videos of people drawing or painting in the past, and while, yeah, it is kind of boring, it’s also very soothing kind of a background noise, and when you bother to pay attention, it’s pretty art.

Aaaaaaand my Oculus Rift died forever last week. Awesome. Great.

Good. I loved this game. The flying is amazing, the art is great, and the combat, with it’s third person combo-focus, was really fun. The problem was that after five or six hours the story was iffy, at best, and they hadn’t thought of how to improve the gameplay loop, and so while I really enjoyed the basics of

Oh. Well, then I’m just wrong on that part. Whoops. Thanks for the clarification.

Yes and no. Yes, a ton of the interesting games are on PC (Gears, Halo, Metro Exodus, etc.), and so you can just play gamepass on PC. No, in that not everything is (Untitled Goose Game, Outer Wilds, etc.).

Are they known for excellent writing? Really? Passable writing, sure. Sometimes even pretty funny. Excellent writing? No.

I’m sorry, but this is absolutely a troll. Maybe the football player who is famous specifically for being one of the greats in his position, and also for being an incredibly nice person, “isn’t great on the field” is a troll. You don’t know to watch sports to know that saying that the professional player is bad is

Awesome. I went to the FAQ and must have missed that. Great to know.

I’m very happy to hear this. Any idea if it works on Macs? It seems to be Windows only right now?

It’s not at all separate from his writings. Not only do you have pieces like The Horror at Redhook, but it really permeates his other stories, even if they aren’t as explicitly racist. It isn’t like people can’t still like his work (there is a lot of rad stuff), but it’s useful to acknowledge what is there.
