I have no interest in listening to nearly an hour of podcast to reply to you, and I find gladwell unconvincing and erratic.

Cool brah.

It’s a very fair assumption. Not only is AD&D obviously derivative of D&D, and the removal of Arneson completely incomprehensible in a game that continued to use his systems of social play very heavily, but people don’t tend to completely capitulate to the demands when they have been systematically trying to eradicate

The result of the suit was that TSR didn’t have to make a public apology, but paid out money. We aren’t privy to the details (NDRs being part and parcel of settlements), but context tells us that they were losing the battle, because it was insane, and decided a mea culpa was in order, and so paid the money they had

Lol at all parts of this. This is exact opposite of the developers growing a pair. They’re absolutely spineless. They put in some absolutely pathetic cringe-worthy 13yo level jokes, and then when there was some controversy, 100% flipped on themselves, and said they would pull it out. Then, when there was a louder

I absolutely agree. The joke itself isn’t even offensive. It’s honestly sad. I have no problem overlooking the foibles of immature little douchenozzels.

It’s important to note the difference here, because it is VERY important. With their store, Microsoft was also launching the UWP platform, and UWP can ONLY be published by Microsoft. His worry is that MS would require game installations to be UWP, and that it would be impossible to install games from stores like

So you’re literally arguing that it is a videogame’s responsibility to monitor the credit card purchases of children, and that parents are off the hook? Okay. If that’s the way you want to play it.

Yes! It IS the parent’s responsibility. It is the parents responsibility to monitor what their children are playing and to not give them credit cards.

It is a problem in the sense that designers making new clothes is a problem. What? DO they expect MONEY for those clothes? Did you hear that there is a piece of clothing that is $170?!?!?! Did you hear that to buy all of this season’s clothing is $200?!?!?!?!

I have. And the arguments all break down to: I want to have all of the stuff, but I want it to be cheap to have all of the stuff. If I see that stuff exists, and I don’t have all of the stuff, I feel bad. It is utterly ridiculous. On a related note, I’ll point you to another reply in this thread where I talk about Jim

Oh god, I forgot what kinds are arguments fourteen year olds are driven by. I only made it twelve minutes into this trite video, so forgive me if the last five minutes put together a cohesive argument.

Oh NO! You can see other skins!

How on earth has this been debunked? It IS just cosmetic, and it IS optional. It’s expensive to have ALL of the outfits and dress up skins for your wittle gunsiewunsies, but is that what we mean by the have and have-nots? I mean, sure, you can play the game for free, and it’s exactly the same game, with exactly no

What you said: “Now make the Windows 10 edition’s VR mode work with something other than WMR headsets.”

I’ve played win 10 VR in an Oculus Rift with no problems. Both the vanilla version and the mod that lets you use the rift controllers. No idea why you might have had problems with the Vive

Thank you. The article praised the voice acting, but it is...very highschool theater.

Ah, gotcha. The phrasing of the last bit, of performers “chasing this stuff down” implied differently in my head, but I see what you mean now.

What are you talking about? There is no way that Mia can make any money off of pornhub. She doesn’t own that content, the producers who made it did. She was a contract worker with no stipulations for royalties. IF anyone is making money from her videos on Pornhub, it will be the producers of the content. Money goes to

I’m also curious about this, but remember, the Pre-Sequel was farmed out to another team halfway across the world, and wasn’t actually made by Gearbox. And games that Gearbox has farmed out have tended to be pretty bad. I also quit pretty early into the presequel. It just felt like a stale rehash.
