$300 is a bad price point, considering the other consoles are more powerful, better supported by developers, have a deeper, already available library, better online services, and cost $250.

That’s all fine and dandy, but Sony’s service didn’t get better because they started charging for it. It slowly got better, and then they started charging (and it’s still lagging behind xbox live I would say—though it’s good, so it doesn’t matter all that much).
I laughed, but man, I’m hoping it’s only the trailer that’s 80% dick jokes and they actually go to something a little more interesting for the movie. Or maybe the whole thing is an surrealist compilation of homophobia and yoga pants.
You’re missing the point. $5 million is an ABSURDLY LOW pricepoint for an XB1 multiplayer game of some complexity. I mean, hell, even Broken Age, the 2d game from Doublefine cost more than $7 million to make. That everyone agreed that $5 million was enough for an XB1 exclusive 3d, fast-combat multiplayer game is…
It was idiotic to think they were going to get a quality multiplayer game for $5 Million. It was a foolish move that undercuts their business (which is putting out high-quality games that people are willing to pay for). Cutting their losses wasn’t the problem, it was the arrangement in the first place.
I legitimately don’t know whose voice reading this is more terrifying. The Joker, or the forthcoming President of the United States...
Oh, I didn’t actually know it had cross platform play. That makes a lot of sense.
You can use any of them for any system. Don’t worry about the branding. The xbox version includes the stupid little xbox plugin, which is nice not to have to buy (though, luckily, the new xb1 controllers can skip that with the 3.5mm jack), but you can just plug a 2.5-3.5mm cable into the ps4 controller and it works…
No, it doesn’t allow you to mix different sources. That wouldn’t work, sadly. That being said: why the heck wouldn’t you just use the ps4 voice chat? It’s not particularly great, but it’s fine, and it’s not like you need broadcast quality voice communication.
You think the market for this is people who don’t have a PC or a console, who want to play turn based or strategy games? Who also want to pay $25 for 20 hours of playtime? How big do you think this market really is?
It’s a regular, rectangular touchpad, with an angled style around it. It’s centered to the qwerty, not the number pad.
You wouldn’t be selfish. Sometimes people just aren’t compatible, and you need to be. You deserve to find what makes you happiest. If you need something that they can’t/won’t give you, then this is only going to get worse.
Yeah. I bought it, because I want it, and games like it, to exist. But I really don’t want to play it.
Dude, they just like different kinds of games. Overwatch is pretty much the only shooter on this this list. Hyperlight Drifter the only action game. Everything else is more plodding with a focus on psychological introspection. Those other games are great, but not this writer’s preference. Look at the other top 10…
Hawaii is so freaking expensive though. If you have money and you don’t actually want to go onto the NFL, it would be a great school. Otherwise...
Fuuuuuuck. Well, it only came out on consoles in 2016. So....I’m gonna pretend that counts enough. It’s really annoying that my first two examples were wrong though... Still. Lots of good games this year still stands.
Oh, well. Poop. I played it this year, and apparently have a mediocre awareness of release dates.
Wait, you’re evaluation of the year is: I didn’t actually play any of these...?
It may have started that way, but the mom has quit her job, and they are bringing in millions of dollars, it is a job—it may be a job he enjoys, but it is certainly work that is not documentary, but more akin to reality tv, which is performance. I’m not saying the parents are doing anything wrong, but we are looking…
It is both voyeuristic (which literally everyone loves) while a human connection, seeing a person like you engage with things that interest you—particularly when they are things you like and want to see that connection, or when they are things you don’t have and are curious about. Kids will watch other kids in…
