Hi, I have TSA Pre and fly twice a year. It’s not my fault the airport I fly out of decided to re-write the TSA Pre rules and tell me, in the Pre line, that I had to pull everything out of my bag anyways (eg, told me to take liquids out, etc).

On Delta, I would just book my ticket into Comfort+ if possible — you’re guaranteed bin space. I fly with a bright orange Pelican AIR 1535 and have never had a problem on most of Delta’s fleet with it in the bins, and C+ basically means I can snag a bin fast and early.

FWIW in experience with taking the voluntary bump on Delta these days, it’s not cash, but you get a choice of how to apply the money into a gift card, and Amex is always a choice. ;)

I believe from what I understand of the architecture they may have used false credentials to initially start a reservation on the vehicle then found an exploit or way on the Mercedes vehicles to “bypass” the Car2Go immobilization system so they could then have unfettered access to it without tracking.

If only they had facial recognition to be able to track when known criminals were entering the facility...
