They'd basically have to design the whole game around that expensive but awesome controller, or they'd have to make two very different control configurations in order to make the game marketable to people who don't have loads of money sitting around.

Much appreciated, thanks!

It's a regular DS game. You don't need a 3DS.

Were those Mystery Dungeon games any good? I heard good things about their story.

I'm very much enjoying it so far. The mechanics are deceptively complex, as easy to learn but intricate for the dedicated as the main-series Pokémon games. The game doesn't throw all of its 17 elemental kingdoms on you at once; I've gotten through the first batch of three (fire, grass, and water, the last two of

Ew.

Welcome to Kotaku.

Looks like Bust-A-Groove (whose demo I do remember playing, along with both of the Tomba demos) is also quite expensive. Good job on your keeping it.

I've seen copies of Tomba listed for hundreds of dollars on places like eBay (as of now, there's a copy available for "only" $45), so for people who were looking for this game, I imagine this will be a huge blessing.

Ohhh. Okay, thanks!

Fair enough, thanks. In response to Cornish below, I guess that would explain the need for a "crucial patch fix" (I've had no major issues, but I don't have a PS3).

Given that list of errors and the rather odd solution, I am exceedingly curious as to what was changed that made such a bug as this even remotely possible.

Skyrim's been out longer than four months, so I doubt it's that.

I agree, though my arguments may be somewhat elaborate. There's no reason that even violence-focused games can't be used to say something very important about games or about us, without necessarily going for an "artsy" approach. (I personally thought the Far Cry 3 E3 demo was almost literally boring to tears, but

Oh? From a Wikipedia article, this sounds pretty interesting. Thanks!

Was she using white-wine vinegar or anything of the sort? (I think the alcohol is boiled out; I'm just wondering.)

My prayers go with you. Sorry about your day.
