Other “millennial” factor that affects car buying: A significant portion of us were given perfectly functional cars at some point in high school or college so there was no need to run out and buy a car for the sake of having any car as soon as we got our first “real job.”

Neutral: I’m a slacker gen-xer who’s always tried to live within my means without getting into too much debt. So I’m living in a smaller city with a decent cost of living in my second, modest home with an affordable mortgage driving an 8 year old paid for car.

Because if you can spend that much, you probably already own most of those.

Everyone in your neighborhood won’t go electric immediately. It will take time. As there are issues, the local utilities will adjust to the requirements and build more local infrastructure to handle it. There will likely be additional rate increases in your monthly bill to cover said costs.

“Copper” plugs actually have a nickel center electrode. The copper is contained entirely inside the plug where you can’t see it. This copper exists in all the spark plugs worth buying.
