I think the problem now is that we don’t trust people. Just in general. We’d rather read reviews online and shop on Amazon, than go into BestBuy and deal with a human who will try to upsell us on Monster Cables and an extended warranty.

I frankly can’t understand why Tesla can’t just play by the rules that every other OEM is legally REQUIRED to conform to, and then lobby to have them changed, like EVERY OTHER OEM does for things they don’t like.

My experience was very similar to Befitzero. I attended ITT in 2008, entering into the IT and computer networking program. Everything was laid out for me, and costs were shown to me upfront. I worked hard and graduated, and my degree was taken seriously.

Wait... what’s wrong with making more money from customers who use more of the service you provide?

“In effect Tesla advertises “crank horsepower” (motor power) while these people are thinking that number is wheel HP.”

Doesn’t every single manufacturer advertise crank HP? Add in a 12-15% loss and the whp usually tells the actual story. Perhaps the issue is simply that it’s near impossible to dyno the awd D at max power? I honestly don’t know.

Actually the battery can never output 700hp, under no circumstances.

You have tens of billions of dollars in profits made in foreign countries by your foreign subsidiaries that already pay foreign taxes.

It’s like reading Car & Driver

Cat people are the weirdest.

V8 Supercars is an awesome template of what NASCAR could be.

The Fords are in a lower sports car class now. Your comparison with the 60s has a closer parallel with the current P1 class, the close competition between Porsche, Audi and Toyota at the top end within the rules envelope.

I don't think anyone can fault you on that.

I’ve never officially lived in Buffalo, but my mom is a South Buffalo native and as such, I’ve spent a lot of time in the city both as a kid and an adult, visiting aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Before a bunch of Buffalo jokes start rolling in, I’m going to tell you that this is a city on the verge of a renaissance...in

Wow. I don’t like it, but that was SOLID. Star where star is due.

Voyager is one of the weakest of the bunch, in my opinion. It makes liberal use of the reset button, which makes it hard for me to get invested in any given episode. I’ve been watching it recently. Anytime something bad happens / somebody dies, I know they’re going to do something to reset it, so it doesn’t matter.

I did the same thing, and went on to watch Voyager. The pilot doesn't do the series justice, it gets better, then plateaus and then declines, but it's worth watching. Not as strong of themes as DS9, but more potential for adventure. The dynamic between melding the Maqui and Federation crew together is interesting in

I was going to type a lengthy rebuttal to this, but my hands are just so damned tired...
