My guess would be the application of heat is helping. Tires warm up quite a bit due to rolling resistance. Which not only increases the air pressure a bit but if you have a slow leak on the bead (where the tire makes a seal on the rim) the heat expansion of the rubber could conceivably seal it while your driving. Then…

Yeah, I like to think of it as a 3/4 scale GT-R. And apparently the 2.5 is pretty sturdy. Shortly after I got the car in August I talked to a guy that said he has a gen2 one with 600HP. So I suppose the real fun starts when the warranty runs out.

Never had unintended acceleration, but I did have unintended deceleration once. I had a Focus that would shut itself off when hitting a bump just right. Took a while to track that down to a failing air flow sensor.

Yeah there’s no CRX anymore. Thought a lot of those old Japanese cars were so fun because they were so light. IIRC an EG Civic 3 door weighed something crazy like 1800lbs. Which just can’t be done with modern safety quality.
