The boomers were the first one to get a name, those before them were retroactively assigned and since the boomers had a name they used the default unknown variable of “x” for the upcoming generation. If you take the time to look up federal dependency you’ll see that Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, and West Virginia are 4 of the top 5 most dependant on Federal wealth transfer from richer states. And you don’t have to leave the top 10 to include South Carolina and Tennessee.
