Just to be clear, for anyone considering this deal: Despite the “Premium” branding, this is NOT for the ad-free version. This gets you access to the entire streaming catalog, but it is still ad-supported.

I am a committed DIYer and I love This Old House! I moved into my current place several years ago and the two story high wall in the lofted living room had been covered with mirror panels. I went to This Old House to find out how to get them down. It was the shortest entry I’d ever seen - basically: Do not do this

I always thought This Old House was a faaaaar more accurate home renovation show. It takes an entire season to finish one house. The people involved have a budget, but also spend more due to delays, price changes, etc. than planned. There are multiple contractors involved in every step of the process. One episode even

Hold up. Are we really putting this out there like it’s a legit contest rather than a shameless attempt by this company to get a year’s worth of freelance writing out of someone for a $500 travel stipend? Because that’s what this is. A goddamn unpaid internship. This is a cheap-ass company not wanting to actually pay

Since when does everyone have them?  No, not true.  It seems like a simple thing.  Don’t take the pictures.  When do they get to see you naked?  When you’ve made the decision to disrobe in front of them.  It’s your body, you should get to control that.

Although this sounds like a slam dunk suggestion,  email accounts are probably the least secure type of online account you have with god knows how many people able to check in and see the mail you are receiving. Having detailed billing statements sent directly to them is just a disaster waiting to happen.

With lastpass when you share it, it stays in their vault as well as yours (unless you unshare it). If you change the password, it changes in their vault as well.

I think (and correct me if I’m wrong) that that’s along the lines of “I need to send you this one password one time”, which is great to, like, login to Netflix, but not great for something where the password might need to change over time and be accessed frequently.

Some of the detail is off a little, but that’s the basic idea. A 20'x40', partition wall down the long dimension with sliding barn doors (to save space) to the rooms. Recessed fridge, “pantry” is also mechanical room, wall-hung toilet with in-wall tank to save space, tankless water heaters to save space, 4'x4' fixed

My solution to the wasted space of hallways was to build a house with no hallways. We love it even more than we’d anticipated.

What don’t you trust?

I didn’t know Evil Week had started already.....

Might be true, but it will definitely be better than handing them a card that is no longer readable due to the folding and other wear and tear.

photocopy your original at 75% and laminate the photocopy. Then you can keep the photocopy with you and put the original someplace safe.

I spent some time in my teen years learning how to skim effectively, and it definitely allowed me to get through material quickly. That said, it only works with things you don’t have to contemplate much... familiar concepts, new specific information for a subject you’re already familiar with, etc. I use this technique

I dug up all my old ones, most were very clearly expired and weren’t recognizable in their original gel form. The one exception was some military issue Purell I have that is probably 10 years old, in very different containers than you would normally see, but maintained it’s gel form and still stings like new. Haven’t

Just one thing to add:

OnePlus. I currently have the 7 Pro and I have no complaints.

Sure, register your domain with any of the registrars such as godaddy, bluehost, siteground , etc .

It’s because they added 3 new Vice Presidents of something or other. It’s never for the faculty who do the actual teaching.
