But hangouts is superior in at least 1 way, the ability to pickup conversations on any device (phone / tablet / computer). It is also nice that it can be used as a default SMS client as well. It used to allow for threading of SMS/hangout conversations in one place which was nice.

I think it depends on where they are planning on showing it to others. But I agree, landscape is better than potrait for videos (and for photos most of the time).

I agree with you. I really wish Amazon would start supporting the cast feature so it could be used with a Google Cast (otherwise known as a Chromecast).

If you don’t have Plex set up, go ahead and set it up. It isn’t hard, and is probably better than running it on any of the set-top boxes.

I disagree with OcelotRex, I had a stick but had issues with it staying connected to the feed and the remote. The feed issue I believe is a wireless issue, but my phone has no issues in the same room as the TV and stick.
