Any leftover meet bone that I have ever had also makes a great addition to beans. A left over ham bone with some meat on it thrown into a pressure cooker with pinto beans and water is great. I’ll have to try some left over brisket next time.

I think no matter how you get started (reading or videos), the playing a mock game is the way to go. My group one time played a new game with the four of us playing everything completely face up. So it was a large mock game that we could all see what each other was doing and that helped see different strategies and

I really like rules 1/5. Those are important, especially the I’ll get to that. But if you weren’t going to get to it, it does offer places that you need to elaborate more.

The other way to learn a game is have 3 people or so who are willing to struggle through the game the first time to figure out the rules and then bring a new person or 2 in to play as well.
