A lot of insurances will replace most of the supplies (humidifier tank included) every 6 months.

I don’t really think you need a big emergency fund in addition to investments. As long as you have a credit card that would cover a right now payment (like Eric’s car repair example) and you can always get the funds from the investment account by the time you need to pay the credit card bill

So they are making it more like Google Drive....

Thanks for the detailed response.

That’s pretty much true with your bank as well. Strong passwords and two-factor will help.

When does the cumbersome part stop and then the habit be quick and easy? I have never made it past the cumbersome setup with Quicken or Mint

Pretty sure Quicken owns Mint so it should be trustworthy enough

How about a privately hosted SVN? I know that Git is the popular tool of choice right now, but SVN is still pretty robust.

I’m in that same boat. I know that I probably should track it, but every time I start to setup Quicken or Mint etc, it just seems like I’m not getting anywhere and it is taking more time than it needs to. And then I feel like I’m wasting time and not getting a benefit.

I thought Quicken could pull in all of the data as well.

I’ve always thought of being house poor when you could avoid the payments and utilities, but had trouble having money for other fun things.

Good to know. I’ll have to look into the AB batteries.

No issues with my amazon basics HDMI cables and I’ve been using 3 of them for at least 2 years if not 3.

Didn't realize that they did. All I typically see is the 6" ones.

I just wish that UA made a pair with a longer inseam. I like the Jockey's with a 9" inseam over the 6"

They have to pay for the bandwidth somehow.
