I think every couple has to find what works for them. We decided to let the more meticulous one handle the record keeping and bill paying.

cast iron is great for a deep dish crust that has a nice crunch.
I've installed and swapped many ceiling fans and have never worried about flipping a breaker. If the switch is off and you don't touch more than 1 wire at a time, you will be fine.
Crashplan even lists how to do it unofficially. I just followed this guide.

I have no trouble copying the number. Not every site will allow you to enter the card number with spaces though.
