I used to use Simple Calendar Widget all the time. I recently switched to one of samsung's built in widgets, but still know that I can go back to Simple Calendar Widget.

It seems like much of what you mention is baked into Windows 8.1. I know it can have different wallpapers and independently scroll through an image directory. It also has the task bar on all monitors. I'm not sure what the custom window control buttons really do for you.
