I have done the same and replaced my documents folder with Copy. It is just sometimes I forget that I have already downloaded the manual and end up looking it up on the web again.

I think it is the citric acid as well as some abrasion. I think if you were going to try lemon juice, you might want to throw something a little rough into the mix. Maybe ice would be enough, I don't know.
