I have to admit I was shocked and a little sad to hear they were shutting down. Then I remembered that it has been a while since I have even used it, so I shouldn't have been so shocked.

I know this is a late reply / question, but Alan if you don't mind: what is your Desktoppr username?

And if they aren't familiar with weight training then this book Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training is a good place for them to start. It will help them with form and techniques for the big five barbell workouts: squat, bench, deadlift, power clean, and military press.

Count my vote for APC, even the small ones work nicely

I agree with not having too much cloud storage, but I'm starting to consolidate certain things. I think it makes it easier to know what information / files are stored with which service. For example my Dropbox is beginning to mostly be my Desktoppr location and Copy.com has most of my other items. I like the fact

That one is cool as well

Thanks

If you are counting work hours I would have to say my Tablet PC. Weekends I would say phone.

A link or a desktoppr name to add this to my rotation?

True, but when the dvr messes up or can only record 2 shows and there are 3 overlapping there are problems. I like sidereel.com that LH covered a while back. It is web based so I can use my computer / tablet / phone.

The real question is why do you want to switch? I subscribe to the right tool for the job philosophy and Linux has it's place. But if you want to game it is not the OS you want.

I was just getting ready to speculate that an Amazon Affiliate Buddy would be a violation of terms and conditions.

I'm a very happy Gallery user going back to the G2 days. Gallery3 is much better than 2. Tiny Web Gallery looks interesting for a smaller less complicated setup.

Good to know.

I use both. But I like Firefox's customization options and have been using it so long that it seems right. Plus google knows enough about me without me giving them every last piece of info.

So are you just buying a license like you are from the bigger places?

I was referring more to your second paragraph on the individually sharing items between LastPass users. I completely agree that sharing a LastPass account would be a bad idea.
