I think it's worth pointing out that collector's editions are more for the fans of particular games than collectors who want all of them. I like collectors editions as much as the next guy, and I even have most of the games on that list. But the only collectors edition I have that's on that list is Halo Reach.

How about not collecting every single CE out there? How about avoiding CE's that are either too expensive, too big or too crappy?

If the single player is about introducing new players into the game then it should include helicopter and jet sequences because it is impossible to learn online when everyone else already has the unlocks for them.
