Most larger computer monitors are 1920x1080, which is still more pixels than 1600x1200. It's also much higher than 1280x720 which is what most console games render at.
It better not ship with that awful DRM that requires a constant internet connection. I loved ACII on my Xbox and brotherhood on my PC. After playing AC in1080p on my PC, I don't think I can go back to playing it on my Xbox.

It's not like Star Wars where the only version available on any modern medium is the ruined version. I can go buy Lion King on Blu Ray and never watch it in 3D if I choose.

I'm personally more disappointed in the new specs. There isn't really anything inside the phone (apart from the neat camera stuff) that wasn't in a competing handset as early as January this year.

Does any of this explain why the menus and inventories in Capcom games (particularly Resident Evil and Devil May Cry) feel 10 years old? From the ugly UI to the crappy sound effects, in game menus in DMC4 and RE5 have been black marks for me on otherwise spectacular titles.
It's like you're trying to start one of the aforementioned wars.
