It's just the SSD making it boot and load apps faster. Everything else is dirt slow.

The Music Bay.
I have two HDD bays in my laptop. An SSD stores the operating system and my most used programs. The second, old fashioned drive stores all my music, movies and games that I don't play that often. Using the magic of symlinks (Junction in Windows vernacular) I am able to even have some of my Steam games on the SSD and…
@LucasReis: The story felt cheesy and carried no real weight at all. You never feel attached to any of the characters.
@DARTH_TIGRIS: Piracy actually doesn't affect PC sales as much as you think. I'm not a pirate myself, but I know quite a few people who are. I also did a fair amount of research into this for a college paper. Pirates fall into 3 categories. The largest is the people who wouldn't buy it even if it wasn't available on…
@Pikachu Mariachi is an electric boost to your party: More or less, yes. While I do believe that some games on the other platforms (Like Mass Effect or Red Dead Redemption) have more depth to them than many of the offerings on the Wii, I do recognize that it is entirely personal preference and that different people…
@ethic: I was trying more or less to be sarcastic. That said, I haven't found anything on the Wii as compelling as Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2. I believe that it is entirely up to personal taste though.
@Pikachu Mariachi is an electric boost to your party: I was trying to be sarcastic. While I haven't seen a title on the Wii as compelling or "deep" as Read Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2, I do believe that it is totally up to personal taste and what you want in a video game. I'm as sick of console wars as anyone…
@hailthorn: Sorry for the poor attempt at making a joke. I haven't seen a title on the Wii as compelling or "deep" as Read Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2. That said, I agree that it is totally up to taste and what you want in a video game.
I agree to stop fighting as soon as Wii, PS3 and Xbox fanboys admit that they are all inferior to the all powerful PC platform.
@trithleon: I thought they did an excellent job on the PC version. What's your beef with it? Many of the reviews I read pointed out that the PC version was in fact superior.
@PowerT: $5 seems trivial and I would rather support the developers so they can make another one. I believe if more people had this mentality, companies like EA and THQ wouldn't be doing this dick "online pass" thing to begin with.
I agree to stop fighting as soon as Wii fanboys admit that, for games with real depth, the Wii is terrible.
@DARTH_TIGRIS: Actually, that figure for ME2 is for the first week.
@Kyonkochan: For some, multiplayer is much more important than single player, and it just so happens multiplayer is where the Call of Duty series truly shines.
Excellent game, but I was more blown away by how amazing Mass Effect 2 was. Plus, BioWare was kind enough to give us a PC version unlike Rockstar.
It came out in 2006. Everyone moved on to Xbox 360's and Wii's. 5 or 6 people were tricked into paying $600 to move on to the PS3.
Really nominating a basketball game? Must be one helluva basketball game.
@Nerf Herder: Yes it is, but for the life of me I can't remember how.
