Oh my god now I cannot unsee.
Oh my god now I cannot unsee.
Oh god, you said Cyberwoman, now we have to stand in the bucket again.
Welp, that’s just depressing.
For real. Can you imagine? It was traumatic enough that thousands of kids watched the first schoolteacher in space die in front of their eyes, but... watching NASA blow up Big Bird? The entire country would have spent the next decade in therapy.
He’s with Mr. Hooper now. RIP.
This is _insane_.
They had me at “Dad Guardian.”
For better or worse, the ratings have been fine. Obviously far off the peak of the RTD years, but series 11's ratings were substantially better in the UK than Capaldi’s final season. Unless things seriously crater this year, Whitaker should be able to do at least the semi-traditional three seasons if she wants to —…
Agreed about the companions. I think the show would have an easier time of it if it allowed them all to still have lives in Sheffield and have some of them sit out an episode or three because they still need to make rent or go to school or just want take a break from near-fatal adventuring now and then.

I believe Jemisin and Campbell are on the record that this is 100% intentional.
Is Far Sector’s chronology specified? None of the human Lanterns so far have been, well, any more immortal than is called for by the vagaries of copyright law. Nothing in the review, at least, suggests that Mullein couldn’t be living long after Jordan, Gardner et al are all peacefully or otherwise passed on.
can’t tell a lie without vomiting
Oh well, whatever, never...
Historians of the future are going to lose their goddamn minds when they realize that “Fury Road” was written, shot and filmed before Trump even announced his candidacy.
(Long-suffering sigh on behalf of everyone else in Gen X)
I mean in fairness I’d play that.
Hell, closing down one major bridge or tunnel entrance is usually enough to bring most of lower manhattan’s traffic to a complete standstill.
Why do so many things need to be set in NY anyway?
Wait, someone at Valve remembered that they own one of the most successful gaming properties of all time???
