Ahhhh ok, my bad there! and absolutely agreed on Clinton and I totally understand the hard line healthcare opinion. I am not far off, although not quite hard line, and that was hugely disappointing when Warren walked it back from true single payer to public option until year 3.

Obviously, my ideal candidate is an out-and-out, far-left candidate of color who was younger than the average age of candidates and who runs on a promise to brutalize the right wing into oblivion, but here we are.

This. All of this.

I am so sorry, and you are so right in that its now worse than ever.

This quote from a Cut article (that I am pretty sure was linked by someone in this thread) sums it up more eloquently than I can:

I cannot speak for this person, only myself, but I do see a lot of people that share this view. Warren is their favorite, but they do not think America will elect her, so they go to someone else, whether it is a centrist, or Bernie. One person doing this is not a big deal, but when you have hundreds saying this, and

Whoa whoa whoa, he apologized for that like 3 years later when he conveniently was about to announce his 2020 campaign. Doesn’t that count for something?? /s

“One night only! Watch one prickly take no prisoners politician go toe to toe with the some would say wiser women trying to steal his spot! Who will prevail!? Friendships will be broken. So will bones. New allies will be made. Get ready for... Progressivemania 2020 - only this Sunday on pay per view!”

Or the crime bill...

Oh, I am sure it did

Please please PLEASE for the love of all that is good and just in this world (which is not much at all) tell me this story is not true. Because that shit is horrifying.

Oh my god... I don’t really have words.

1. yes

“This is crazy. How can so few people cause someone so much misery?”

Unfortunately the neckbeards would require crazy things like “empathy” or “self reflection”, or a human brain to actually learn things.

Alright, Im done with this argument.

They still won’t support Warren. Do you understand that? If Sanders were revealed to be a pedophile or died or was removed from politics some other way. That does not create a solution for you. That is what I mean “it is not the issue”. That is what I am trying to communicate. The reason they are supporting Sanders

This is your comment. You said in response to me calling out his issues with a sexist campaign that it isn’t an issue. Yes it is. If the “farthest left” candidate cannot bother to pay his female employees equally or even address it, because he claims he was too busy fighting the revolution, that is a problem. Period.

In response to criticism of sexism in his 2016 campaign “I certainly apologize to any woman who felt she was not treated appropriately, and of course if I run we will do better the next time,” he said. Asked if he knew about the staff complaints, he said, “I was a little bit busy running around the country trying to
