We don’t need a bluetooth-connected app to open the car. What we need is NFC-enabled tap-to-open. You’re right, when I’m coming back to the car I don’t want to have to take out my phone, open an app, press a button, and then get into the car. It would be so much easier to just hold your phone near the door handle, and

When restoring a 1969 MGB with my dad, we discovered - shocker - the weirdness of Lucas electrical wiring.

If you zoom in to the engine compartment photo, you can see there is an intake pipe bolted to the manifold through the heat shielding.

My wife, who has rolled her eyes at my car-crazy habits for years, is in the market for a new car. It will be a small SUV. We’ve had a few different rentals while on vacation this summer, and she has (unprompted) commented how the Mazda CX-5 we had was the best driver (good acceleration and handling, but a bit less

I would treat the Postal Jeep as I would a bicycle helmet in a crash: single use. You’ve already pointed out it was an enhanced risk driving it on the roads, and that you’re lucky it did so well in a crash. It’s not beyond saving, but it’s given a fair amount of the integrity it had to survive that crash. I’d be

I came to the comments only to post about this line.

Yup, you don’t kiss a girl like that in 2019 if you’re not already dating or a clammy Republican.

Apparently the only way to get a project in running shape is an unreasonably close deadline.

What a great looking car.

I don’t have a great example of a supercar flop. But the counterpoint is that I think most of the established manufacturers are pretty good at identifying how many buyers they have for any potential limited production super/hypercar, and getting decent/firm commitments to buy way before production commences.

“The brand conducted “comprehensive research” around its new DBX SUV to create the persona / avatar.

Thanks, did not know that!

Did they say they didn’t have any women on staff?

At the risk of sounding like I’m man-splaining this, in product development, it’s very common to create buying personas and name them. Perhaps the term “avatar” is not a good one, but using a persona is often very useful in the decision-making process. Understanding the gender of your likely buyer persona is necessary

93% negative news coverage! It amazes me that they are able to track news coverage with that amount of accuracy, and yet thousands of asylum-seeking families are still not reunited with their children.

Most of these statements are views that Trump agrees with.... and has also verbalized. But he gets to be President and these statements disqualify her from the administration? *Chef’s kiss* Amazing.

The entire season, almost every take was that the playoffs were going to be boring, because we all knew the Warriors were going to be champs again. And to their credit, they fought relentlessly to succeed against my beloved Raps. But fuck anyone who wants to diminish Toronto’s accomplishments. The entire post-season

I’ve followed hockey less in recent years so I am blown away that they were in last place and are now champs. Incredible.

I had a similar thought about not playing quite as hard after the score was say, 5-0. But then I remembered about the goal differential, and that other teams might also beat up on Thailand, so you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage by easing up, without knowing the scores in future round-robin games.
