Stats are basically the only way for announcers to actually have something unique to say at any given time of the game, since each break between plays is about 20 seconds too long, and you can’t fill the entire game with anecdotes about your cat’s antics or how your third wife is divorcing you for screwing your nanny

Counter-point. The Miata looks better. The Alfa tries to be retro but doesn’t really hit any interesting notes, apart from having perhaps better tail lights. The interior is all Mazda. On the other hand, the Miata has a much better and aggressive front end, with modern small lights and a nicely curved hood.

Last week it was “we will not offer this because a manual transmission does not exist that can handle the power/torque while offering smooth shifts”

A great first step, which hopefully ends with a full passenger version. I am loath to buy a minivan for the family, and similarly resistant to a 7-seat SUV. An EV microbus would be 100% perfect.

The Mustang looks better, hands down. It has for 4 years now. The Challenger is ancient but people still love that retro look. There are piles of them around San Diego.

The body looks ok but the front end is a huge disappointment when you look at the concept version. The concept also doesn’t look like something that would be that hard to produce... Swing and a miss here Kia.

As pointed out, it’s only the two-tone paint options which require (or come with) the additional packages. You can get the same paint in lower spec models without needing additional packages.

Yeah I was thinking that thing looks pretty sweet. I’d lower it a bit more and drive it mostly as-is.

I feel the same way, especially around the rear where it seems to be somewhat similar to Mercedes’ current trunks as well. Honestly there are a few base-model 3- and 4-series BMWs around here that if I didn’t look carefully, could be mistaken for Mercs.

Oooh that’s nice wood. (The brown striped finish in the last photo).

The US doesn’t have a lock on horrible traffic. I grew up around Toronto and it’s gridlocked constantly now. Many years back, I went with some friends to the lakefront to watch Canada Day fireworks (like the 4th of July, but 4 days earlier). On the way there, we saw people parked ON THE SHOULDER OF THE FREEWAY which

If you’re buying a $7k FD, you should be prepared to either rebuild the engine or re-do everything in the bay anyways. It’s like any old car you buy for under market value, especially when the engine has complex ancillaries. If I had the spare cash for it right now, this is exactly what I’d do - buy one that needs the

I absolutely refuse to buy over-priced stroller and baby shit. Graco is expensive enough as it is. There are piles of well-reviewed and safety certified stroller/carseat combos to be had, and I’ve happily put both children in them. BIG STROLLER can get FUCKED.

3 things on mine:

There’s one in my apartment complex. The guy also owns a 1980s Civic hatchback, and a similar vintage Camry. The 240sx is by far the nicest of the 3. I often wonder if I could buy it from him for a good price and flip it.

Confirmed: still awaiting actual evidence of bat flip.

It could be worth this price if at least one of these things wasn’t true:

My cars have always had lowered suspension (springs/shocks, coilovers, air suspension; depended on the car) and uprated tires and wheels, which has always improved both the handling and the all-important looks.

Honestly all the excitement and mania that has surrounded him this year made an injury karma-cally unavoidable. You are all to blame.

I read the headline as “Phillies and their Dumb Shit” and thought yeah, that sounds about right.
