What a butt clench of a race Super Metroid was. That race showed just how far the SM community has pushed the limits of any%, as well as the incredible skill of the top level players. Oats was putting on a clinic until he got sniped at the end.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight by halfcoordinated, any% Insane difficulty one handed. Not just for the incredible skill it takes to defeat a platformer in 32 minutes where one hit kills you, and to do it using only one hand, but to hear his inspirational message at the end.

If memory serves, most of the wildlife in that game is fairly manageable. But the cougars, wolves, and bears present the biggest problems.
