I'll pass. The normal mode already feels like a slog through a mud pit with alligators chomping my limbs off; I really don't need to set the mud on fire, too.

Or, just let me use whatever weapons I want, not a restriction on Void weapons. I have much better weapons than my Void arsenal, but that's what I'm stuck with under the terms of the bounty.
The one class of fusion rifle I don't have. I have Murmur, Plan C, Pocket Infinity...but nothing void. Just shotguns.
Maintain a checkpoint? You mean, you can get to "WE'VE WOKEN THE HIVE" or any of the others, quit out, and the next time you go to that mission, it will reload at that spot, every time?
I don't know if "the question no one has bothered to ask" is completely accurate, because each discussion I join regarding Destiny inevitably comes around to "Why the hell are we still doing this?", even if it's not stated as bluntly as that. It's getting harder and harder for me to explain that playing a Strike with…
Every fight in that raid is fun. From opening the vault to defending the confluxes to sweeping the Oracles to the Vault finale, every step along the way brings a sense of collective accomplishment with everyone contributing to the goal. It somehow feels not as gratifying if everyone in a team of 6 gets credit for…
I got to the bridge for the first time last night, and just as we were starting to figure out how to clear the bridge, it was time for the team to break up for the night. Even with the bridge part, though...it's my understanding that if there are enough living players on the far side of the bridge to kill the enemies…
That's why I'm content at Level 31. There's absolutely no way I'm going to grind as hard as I can to get to Level 32 when Bungie has already set a precedent by moving the level cap once. With House of Wolves on the immediate horizon, plus whatever else is in Destiny's future, there's no chance the cap will stay at…
Better idea to get through the first part of the raid: Find a really good teammate who can get through the first part by him/herself (either legit or through a shortcut), because apparently as soon as one person in a team of six successfully clears the opening section, everyone (dead or alive) warps to the start of…
If the name of the school at which "Space Invaders" took place ever got out, that coach would probably be fired within a week, and the seniors would have charges pressed against them.
"MMOs serve as terrific venues to spend time with people. It's a glorified chat room. Storytelling and handcrafted content are sacrificed for the enhanced social experience."
This had me in tears from laughter. Actual, heaping tears.
I find it curious, and perhaps not a coincidence, that the Comet item on that chart has a box icon similar to the original Destiny release at far left, while the DLC expansions are smaller images. Might Comet itself be "Destiny 2", then?
The Chicago Bears are not great, but I root for them anyway. At least it's not the Jets.
Then we have different definitions of "cheating". This Crota shortcut is closer to my definition than the Templar ledge shortcut ever was.
Thank you for putting words to my thoughts. "Clever use of game mechanics" is a good way to describe both the Atheon and Templar shortcuts, and while I never got the chance to push Atheon off the platform, I did help push the Templar off twice. That felt cleaner than what this sounds like.
This seems like an awful lot of effort to make the fight easier. At least with the Templar platform shortcut, it could be communicated in 15 seconds.
The F-35A's cannon can fire 3,300 rounds per minute but can only hold 180 rounds.
Let's add to this the endless advertisements and sponsoring of segments.
I have more of a problem with National Signing Day as a television phenomenon than the day itself. Enough with the hats.
