I used to feel the same way about online play, but Destiny's co-op online works very well. You can play the missions solo, there's matchmaking in PvP, and the game will also match you up with players for the cooperative missions (strikes). Matchmaking takes a matter of seconds.

Bungie has said in the lead-up to this update that it will be possible to toggle these chats on and off.

It's got to be either that or the ledge way above the entrance to Aksor's area. I'd probably still be suffering through the Nightfall if I hadn't followed a strike teammate to that ledge.

Bill Belichick and the Patriots truly do not give a shit about any of your fantasy teams. ANY of them.

I keep playing for the cooperative aspects of it. I love the co-op.

England's second-tier league is #8 on that list. That's remarkable.

+1 Minnie the Moocher

So it would end up being an additional financial benefit to the players already signed to Philly if Philly doesn't sign anyone else to get to the floor. That's a curious setup.

The 76ers are tanking by barely paying players (they're currently almost $20 million under the CBA-mandated salary floor)...

I believe the concept of the day-one patch has become a safety net for publishers. It's like, "OK...if we don't get it totally right, that's fine, because we can just release this huge patch on day 1 to fix everything or we can fix it later so don't worry if you don't have the time to get it perfect up front".

I won't dispute any of that, but I will point out that in my experience, such minor details are often ignored during a rage-fest.

The only things I picked up from the game were Kopitar's penalty shot in the first and Anaheim's news release that Perry and Beauchemin were diagnosed with mumps, which turned my Twitter feed into a raging cacophony (rightly) denouncing anti-vaxxers.

...few Qatar administrators allowed themselves to be interviewed by Garcia, and Russia claimed it had thrown out all its records of the bidding process.)

I find it very interesting that this service includes a decent chunk of sports networks, such as the Fox Sports national networks, NBCSN, BTN, and all of those regional networks. It doesn't seem like ESPN is included, but if the sports networks being offered through this are extensive enough, then maybe I don't need

Ooooh! Ooooh! Do Destiny next!

I can't decide which is more impressive on the Driveclub clip. 1) That the driver can drive away, or 2) That the driver stuck the landing.

Is this intended to project total payroll for a full roster of players? For instance...the total projected payroll for Philly, per that chart, is $142.17M including the arbitration estimate, but is that for 25 players, or is that for their current commitments, which for Philly might mean only 12 players?

Why does it always seem like Attorney Hardin is the lawyer for sports figures accused of wrongdoing? Busch, Adrian Peterson a while ago, Roger Clemens all those years ago...

Seems to me that, as a general rule, journalists should not be dictated to by the subjects on which they are reporting. Be it gaming, politics, or whatever. That's what a review embargo sounds like to me.

So THAT's why the postmaster has lost items for me. Now I don't have to charge through the open battlefield of a Strike or whatever when I see a blue Engram flash...
